Parenting as a TEAM sport

I have decided that parenting is a TEAM sport. I will explain what that means later.

I believe that in order to achieve the most success as a family that all members need to be feel that they are an intricute part of the team. As parents (coaches) it is our job to make sure that each member feels the importance of their role, and works towards the success of the team (family)

The trick is getting the kids to buy in to the concept. That is what this blog is here to explore. How do you get your kids, at all their different ages and stages, to buy in to the concept of "the TEAM?" Any one have any suggestions?
